Our Story

The Drews Way began when I realized that getting ahead in life didn’t mean much if I wasn’t living with purpose. At 17, I was doing what I thought the world expected of me, while feeling unsure about the direction I was headed. I may have looked happy, but I knew I had a vision I wasn’t acting on.

I chose to have Faith in God, take action, and step outside my comfort zone. That choice became the heart of The Drews Way: learning to be comfortable with being uncomfortable as I grow in faith and purpose.

One Bible story that stays with me is the Israelites’ journey after God freed them from slavery in Egypt. When hardship came, some wanted to return to Egypt, even though God was leading them toward the land He had promised Abraham’s descendants. Their story reminds me how easy it can be to return to what feels familiar, even when God is leading us forward.

In a nonliteral sense, I felt trapped by the world and kept returning to what was comfortable, without thinking about the hurt it caused me and the people around me. Through the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I’ve learned to choose a harder but more purposeful path. I’m not perfect, but I choose to deny myself, take up my cross, and keep going.

Lust, pride, laziness, and casual hookups can seem normal or easy, but they can cause hurt we don’t see right away. Big steps are hard, but small steps add up. Through The Drews Way, I hope to share God’s word on clothing people enjoy wearing—and encourage you to take your own next step.
